David Foenkinos in Ontario from December 6-10 [fr]
David Foenkinos is first known as a novelist and he has authored several books which include Le Potentiel érotique de ma femme, Lennon or Je vais mieux, his next book. He is considered as one of the most important authors of his generation and his style is described as burlesque and wry. His novels have been translated into more than fifteen languages. Meanwhile, the author became a film director with La Délicatesse, by adapting for the screen his best-seller novel, which had sold over a million copies.
In Toronto, David Foenkinos will participate at the 20th edition of Toronto Book Fair. The program includes readings, meetings and signatures with well-known and francophone novelists, roundtables on various topics such as the film adaptation of literary works, the question of the first novel; as well as workshops and an exceptional screening of La Délicatesse. David Foenkinos will meet students from Toronto in two workshops organized at the Lycée français de Toronto and the Collège français.
David Foenkinos will then visit Subury on December 9 and Ottawa on December 10 where he will participate in other screenings of the film La Délicatesse.
