French conductor Fabien Gabel in concert – Jan 25 and 26, 2014 [fr]

French conductor Fabien Gabel will conduct in Toronto on January 25 and 26 for two concerts at Roy Thomson Hall. “The French Connection” concert honours some of the best masterpieces of French classical music such as Debussy’s Clair de lune (Moonlight) or Saint Saën’s bacchanale from Samson and Delilah.

Recently appointed as Music Director of the Québec Symphony Orchestra, Fabien Gabel has already performed with major orchestras in France, England, Germany, Russia, and the Netherlands. UK’s “Times” offered praise for his "compelling technique and eloquent body language."
