Let’s celebrate Bastille Day in Toronto! – July, 13, 2014 [fr]

Join us on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Wychwood Barns (601 Christie Street, Toronto), one of the most beautiful architectural sites in Toronto (Globe and Mail) to celebrate France’s national holiday!

The event will Kick off at noon with a traditional picnic organized by Torontois.com.

At 3:00 PM, make sure to check out the French market, play some games and activities, listen to music, and much more! French artisans, craftsmen, companies, associations, and institutions will be on site all day long. A great opportunity to discover new brands, test out new products, and learn more about French culture!

Four screens will be added to watch 2014 FIFA World Cup final.

At 5:30 PM, the official ceremony will start by the Consul General’s speech in presence of Mr. Frédéric Lefebvre, member of the French National Assembly representing French citizens in North America.

The tradition of July 14 will be fully honored at night with a bal populaire (a traditional French celebration) featuring a draw with many great door prizes to be won, including a pair of flight tickets offered by Air France, two sets of an overnight stay in a Novotel hotel in Canada, a statuette offered by Charles Pachter, and many household appliances offered by Seb…

It is the perfect way to end the day with some good music played by "Amelie et les singes bleus", dance and toast to new connections with a good glass of wine.

Make sure to bring your friends and family.
We hope to see you on July 13 at Wychwood Barns!

This event is open and free for everyone, except for le bal populaire. Tickets for le bal are $10 each (free for children under 12 years old). Tickets include a free glass of wine, food samplings and one ticket for the draw.
