French Chef Alain Ducasse in Toronto – October 15-17 [fr]

As part of a new partnership between George Brown College’s Centre for Hospitality and Culinary Arts and Ducasse Education, French chef Alain Ducasse will be in Toronto from October 15 to 17. This visit will be the occasion for this Michelin star chef to taste Toronto cuisine, meet with professionals and visit the French culinary market, which will gather many Toronto-based French restaurants.


Alain Ducasse will participate to a Q&A led by Canadian Chef Chuck Hughes on Wednesday October 15 at 18pm. The conversation will be followed by a wine-and-cheese reception and book signings by both Ducasse and Hughes.

On Thursday October 16 from 17:30pm, the internationally renowned chef and restaurateur will be guest of honor of a French Culinary Market hosts by the University. At this walk-around food market, you’ll discover a superb selection of the palate-pleasing fare of Paris and Lyon prepared by 15 local celebrity chefs, including Jason Bangerter of Langdon Hall, Alexandra Feswick of The Drake, and Anthony Walsh of Oliver & Bonacini.
