French Tech Tour Canada 2016: 10 French start-ups ready to take off in Canada [fr]
Business France, the national agency supporting the international development of the French Economy, revealed today the list of the ten French companies selected to take part in the 2016 edition of French Tech Tour Canada, an accelerator program held in Toronto and Montreal. Building on the success of the past editions, French Tech Tour Canada 2016 runs for three weeks this year. The 10 participants will be BiBOARD, Brainwave, CBien, Dataiku, Easytransac, Feeligo, Headoo, Lifedomus, Sykio and Wiztivi.
The immersive program will allow the selected companies, who see Canada as a priority market, to further develop their presence in the market and to multiply meeting and sales opportunities in Toronto and Montreal.
Participants were selected by a jury of industry-leading companies and key players in the Canadian technological ecosystem, who consider the French Tech Tour a unique opportunity to detect leading French innovative technologies.
The range of technologies and sectors represented is diverse and confirms again this year that Canadian companies recognize the excellence of French Tech – and the recent designation of Montreal as French Tech Hub will strengthen the dynamic of this third edition.
As of today, the ten start-ups will begin working with Business France to define their strategy and approach to the Canadian market. Once in Canada, the program will build around a series of B2B individual meetings with potential clients and partners. The companies will also participate in thematic workshops and roundtables to better understand the keys to entering the Canadian market, with topics as varied as regulation, communication and financing. In addition, they will attend several networking events in order to increase their visibility locally.
Thanks to this program, the companies will be able to grow their business, prepare to operate in North America and expand their market exposure. French Tech Tour is proud to offer this opportunity in the spirit of collaboration between French and Canadian tech companies.
