WW2 veteran Allan McPhail awarded Legion of Honour [fr]

Allan McPhail, a Cannington resident, was awarded Legion of Honour for his efforts during Second World War

"This is the highest decoration France can bestow," said French Consul General Marc Trouyet in presenting the award. "Thank you for fighting by our side…and allowing my country to be free."
