French athletes won 36 medals during the Games (12 gold, 13 silver and 11 bronze medals)
The third edition of the Invictus Games in Toronto took place between September 23-30 and saw more than 550 ill, injured and wounded servicemen and women from 17 allied nations – including France with 30 athletes.
With 30 athletes (9 from the army, 1 from the Navy, 3 from the air force, 5 from the Gendarmerie Nationale, 5 veterans and 8 civilian personnel from the Ministry of Armies), the French delegation participated in 10 competitions. French athletes won 36 medals – 12 gold medals, 13 silver medals and 11 bronze medals.
