“Global Security Tested – the EU’s Role and Ambitions” [fr]
This event will be jointly organized by the European Union Consulates General in Toronto on January 18th, as part of the “EU Talks” series.
The event will take place on January 18th 2018 at Toronto’s Canadian Forces College. Speakers will discuss issues such as current global security risks and challenges, the EU’s vision and policies around security and defense, and the newly-established Permanent Structured Cooperation (PESCO). They will also comment on the evolution of the United States’ role in the security and defense area, and address bilateral relations between the EU and its American, Canadian and Russian partners in these fields.
