“Stranger by the Lake” opens on January 17, 2014 in Toronto [fr]

Winner of the best director prize in the Un Certain regard section of the 2013 Festival de Cannes, the French film “Stranger by the Lake”, which was also presented at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival, will open on January 17 at TIFF Bell Lightbox!

The new film from French director Alain Guiraudie takes place on a lake where the young homosexual Franck (Pierre Deladonchamps) flirts and falls in love with Michel (Christophe Paou), a handsome but dangerous man, with whom he lives a passionate and violent affair.
